"The Power of Spheres"

In the article “The Power of Spheres,” published last month @Scientific American by 

Mirkin et. al. has demonstrated  the ability of the secondary structures molecules of 

DNA/RNA to rearranged in an spherical design or SNAs (spherical nucleic acids) to 

target and attack brain cancer cells that others programmable drugs cannot reach due to the immediate response of the immune system to an unknown substance. The spherical shape of SNAs make them easier to penetrated cells. Even thought SNAs  are not yet approved drugs, this findings are setting a precedent to a next set of clinical trials, and it is more than just a small victory in the long processing of getting them development and approved!
